I am a non-car driving performer here in Glasgow, Scotland and I try to
always carry my gear on the Brompton. The photo enclosed shows a suitcase of circus props
and my stilts strapped to the back. I extend the rear carrier with a length of lightweight
wood. This makes a shelf held secure by the heavy case for the stilts to sit on.
I have an even larger suitcase that holds other show props that sits in the same way as the one in this photo. It is the best way I have discovered so far to carry equipment as sideways on there is no heel hinderance and the little wheel puts the centre-of-mass safely low down.
Best wishes from the UK.
