I finally found pictures of at least one of the B's in pack mule form. My ladyfriend doesn't bike much, so, since I had the Mountain Drive, I took most of the load. Standard pannier went on both bikes, w/ a mattress pad on top of each. Rear end has a Top Peak saddle tube rack and bag on top, a Radical Design bag in the middle on the rack, and a pair of REI saddlebags lower outboard. The two green and black bags in the outboard center are solo tents. I had _more_ than enough storage capacity, so the volume is bigger than the load. If I was in better shape or going further, I could have carried much more quite easily. (Mountain Drive!) Her bike had smaller saddle bags and she took the sleeping bags. This is why I've chosen to put a kickstand on both bikes. Another shot: the stainless steel brackets I made to keep the bags away from the shift chain and kickstand. Simple and effective. The whole rig behaved quite well, and significantly outperformed my ladyfriend. Now I'm in a quandary about what I have to change for next year.
